Cook made his presence felt on Buffalo’s opening drive of the second half, leading them on an 80-yard scoring drive over nine plays that resulted in a 4-yard touchdown run to tie the game at 24-21.

The drive began with Ray Davis returning a kickoff 58 yards for an initial score; wide receiver Darren Fells then caught 17 yards worth before Allen delivered a 20 yard pass for tight end Dawson Knox to complete it all.

On third and five, Allen connected with Knox again to get the Bills into Patriots territory with new downs. On fourth down, Cook broke through and scored his touchdown shortly after two minute warning, narrowing their advantage down to 21-10.

As the first half was coming to a close, Buffalo received possession with 1:43 left in it. Rhamondre Stevenson ran for 15 yards on their initial play while Maye completed an incredible third-and-7 play when he found Kayshon Boutte along the sideline for 30 yards and new downs inside New England territory.

This victory marked only the first time since 2000 when Buffalo defeated New England at Foxborough; ending New England’s 10-game winning streak against them as well.

While at Ohio State, Henderson earned first-team All-Big Ten running back honors and started in 10 games. He amassed more than 1,000 yards rushing and scored 11 touchdowns while also catching 13 passes for 145 yards. Following graduation he was selected in the 2025 NFL Draft by New England Patriots as a rotational running back and kick returner.

At first, New England dominated the run game thanks to Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson combining for 118 yards rushing. Meanwhile, Buffalo only managed 25 rushing yards. Dalton Kincaid

In Week 15, Buffalo kept their momentum alive and prevented New England from clinching the AFC East. Amidst bitter cold and gusts strong enough to cause goalposts to move, Drake Maye led his team quickly into an early lead with two rushing touchdowns from quarterback Drake Maye – before responding with their own drive which resulted in blocked field goal and fumble recovery by cornerback Dalton Kincaid sealing Buffalo’s victory.

After an uneventful first quarter, New England struggled to establish themselves in the second. A pass interference penalty by Carlton Davis on a third-down play forced New England to punt. New England was forced to punt on its next drive and linebacker Mike Bosa’s second-half fumble was recovered by Buffalo. Josh Allen

Josh Allen was unquestionably the star player for both teams on this field, leading his Bills rookie quarterback team to an emphatic victory against New England Patriots defense and offensive unit in first half. Allen completed eight of 12 passes and threw two touchdowns.

In the second half, the Patriots had another opportunity to score when Mike Lodish returned a fumble from the goalline for a touchdown. Unfortunately, however, Bills defense held strong and they forced the Patriots to settle for a field goal to end the game.

With their win, the Bills improved to 25-4 since 2020 in December/January games and eliminated New England from playoff contention.

Furthermore, they set a franchise record for most points scored against New England while Josh Allen became one of only six NFL players ever to throw two touchdowns against New England in any given game.

Allen has had an incredible rookie season despite early struggles. He is currently completing over 80% of his passes this year and leading the league with 14 passing touchdowns.
