Matthew Stafford

Matthew Stafford led the Rams to an easy 35-7 win over Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon, as 86,152 watched them battle at Wembley. At halftime they led 21-0 as Stafford completed 21 of 33 passes for 182 yards and scored twice early – 5-yarder to Komata Mumpfield and 2-yarder to Davante Adams quickly put them ahead 14-0; their opponents, however, ranked first in NFL in terms of sacks/takeaways had none while outgained them by six first half first downs!

After an uneven start, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford began connecting on three consecutive possessions to complete 22 of 42 passes for 258 yards and no turnovers in their win against the Giants.

Although sacked four times during this game, Stafford held onto all his passes without any turnovers to lead his team to victory despite playing through a sprained right index finger injury; as per team policy he will not appear on their NFC Championship Game opponent Seattle Seahawks injury report and should be healthy come February 9.

In the second quarter, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford connected on a 1-yard touchdown pass to Adams that concluded their six-play, 60-yard drive for a 21-0 advantage after Parker Washington’s 61-yard punt return was negated due to a penalty.

In the third quarter, kicker Josh Brown hit a 40-yard field goal for Los Angeles. On their next kickoff after this goal was recovered at 32-yard line by defensive end Tim Crowder who later also recovered Greg Zuerlein’s fumble for them.

After suffering multiple injuries to their secondary, the Rams were able to capitalize on turnovers. Stafford connected with wide receivers Adams and Davante for two more touchdowns of the game, respectively – these two combined for over 100 receptions this season! They will remain one of the league’s premier receiving duos this year and pose a threat against opposing defenses this year as they take into the final two weeks at 7-2.

Davante Adams

Adams had an exceptional 2025 season for the Rams, yet wasn’t enough to carry them over the edge. His catch rate exceeded 50% and led the league in receiving touchdowns with 14. Furthermore, this play saw Adams register his first playoff score as part of their team.

Adams made history when she made an impressive 57-yard catch, giving the Rams an early 7-0 lead on their opening drive and scoring on their initial play of 2019. Meanwhile, Jacksonville went three and out, returning Logan Cooke’s 61-yard punt with 8 yards back to their 21 yard line for Logan Cooke to punt again – returning it directly back into Ram territory!

On their next possession, Stafford threw another touchdown to Terrance Ferguson for a 31-yard catch and gave Los Angeles a 14-0 advantage with 7:11 remaining in the first quarter. It marked Ferguson’s first big passing play (30+ yards) since coming into this matchup ranked 17th overall for 3rd-down efficiency.

One yard pass to Adams culminated the Rams’ second drive and they took an early 21-0 lead with 4:37 remaining in the first half. A 62-yard punt return by Parker Washington was nullified due to a penalty, while Cam Little missed his 50-yard field-goal attempt on Jaguars’ opening drive of second half – until rookie wide receiver Travis Hunter caught a 34-yard touchdown pass late in third quarter to make it uncontested affair.

Travis Hunter

Travis Hunter, the Jaguars’ second-round draft selection this year, turned in one of his finest performances of his rookie season against the Rams in London, catching eight passes for 101 yards and scoring one touchdown while leading all Jaguar players. Unfortunately, they lost 35-7 but their young star will look to build upon this promising showing when facing off against Tennessee next week.

Jacksonville’s offense had a difficult first half, mustering just six first-down possessions and 126 total yards. They also failed to record either a sack or takeaway despite entering the game as leaders of both categories in terms of wins.

Maurice Harris scored their only first-half scoring play when he converted on a fourth-down conversion run of 11 yards, giving them an 7-0 lead before they had to punt after failing to convert any first downs on their next possession.

With less than two minutes remaining in the first half, Rams kicker Josh Brown kicked a 41-yard field goal to extend their lead to 14-0. However, quarterback Blake Bortles found an opening for himself with his 14-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Allen Hurns; but that would be it for scoring on their part – they punted on three consecutive possessions following this initial burst of scoring from their offense.

Second half results did not favor the Jaguars; as the Rams converted 28 out of 68 third-down plays. Furthermore, they held no sack or takeaway while outgaining them 291-156 during that half of play.

Losing this game dropped the Jaguars to 2-5 overall and left many of its players questioning the team’s future. Head coach Liam Coen addressed this situation afterward by noting he will start watching tape immediately on board his flight home, flushing out some issues which “won’t go away for some time”. Coen stated further that both sides of the ball must improve moving forward for success moving forward; additionally they have an bye week scheduled before traveling to Minnesota on November 25.

Braden Fiske

Braden Fiske is one of the Rams’ top young defensive ends and his work on Sunday was just another testament to his standout season. A 2025 draft pick out of Michigan, Fiske is impressing both on the field and in film room and has already established himself as an impact player for Los Angeles.

The Rams scored on their first three possessions and led 21-0 by halftime. Meanwhile, the Jaguars were only allowed six first downs before punting three times during that quarter; thus severely diminishing any chances of scoring points for them.

Stafford threw his fourth touchdown of the game to Terrance Ferguson to cap an 8-play, 62-yard drive and extend the Rams’ lead to 35-7 with 11:11 remaining. Later on in the quarter, Stafford connected with Adams for another 51-yard score that made it 45-7 with 9:06 remaining in play.

The Rams made their lone takeaway of the game on the second play of the fourth quarter when linebacker Michael Hoecht and Fiske combined for a strip-sack on New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye – providing an early boost for their defense which came into the game ranked third in takeaways with 14.

This gave them the edge they needed early, as Jaguars struggled offensively; their streak fell to four games as they headed home for their late October bye week 2-4 with another loss under their belts; working towards finding winning formula is paramount – work which starts on plane rides home if anything – this game showed them they needed a boost early as it will only help find how.
