Rain repeatedly interrupted play, but India appeared well-positioned to secure victory. Smriti Mandhana and Amanjot Kaur both looked in fine form while Harmanpreet Kaur took three wickets for India while Radha Yadav, playing her maiden One Day International for Bangladesh took one wicket as well.

Renuka Singh Thakur also took one wicket.
